Shimmer Polish Sunday – Gerry

Afternoon all!

*this product was sent to me for review*

It’s Sunday so it’s time for another Shimmer polish! This week it’s the turn of Gerry! Gerry consists of violet, purple and  navy blue glitter in a clear base. There’s also a tiny bit of red and black in there too.

I knew exactly what colour I wanted to layer Gerry over and that was OPI Do You Have This Color In Stockholm! It’s a rather fantastic purple that was a perfect match for Gerry’s violet tones!

All photos are taken with two coats of Stockholm, 2 coats of Gerry and one coat of Seche.

Application was great! Formula was of good consistency (a touch on the thicker side but nothing to cause issue) and each pass of the brush delivered a good coverage of glitter. I like the little hints of red glitter – I think it pops really well against the purple.

Here a little bit of nail art using Gerry:

For this I used:

  • O.P.I ‘Do You Have This Color In Stockholm’ (base colour & dots)  2 coats
  • O.P.I ‘Alpine Snow’ (index finger)
  • Shimmer Polish ‘Gerry’ (2 coats)
  • Dotting tool
  • Seche Vite.

So, what do you think? If you like what you see, Gerry can be yours for $12/£8.13 (approx) and you can get it here.

That’s all for today but I shall see you all soon!
