Afternoon all! I hope you’re having a good weekend (although it’s nearly over – boooo!) I have attempted my very first (as you’ll be able to tell, haha!) freehand nail art today :-). For once, the resulting mani actually matched the mani I had in my head! Hurrah! I’ve used another one of the No7 Christmas collection polishes – a gorgeous dark teal. Anyway enough babble, here it is;
- SH – Nailgrowth Miracle
- No7 ‘Totally Teal’ (base colour) 2 coats
- 2True ‘Shade no 9’ (Rudolph colour)
- Essie ‘Good As Gold’ (antlers)
- No7 ‘Devil’s Delight’ (nose)
- Maybelline Express Finish ‘Black’ and BarryM ‘Matt White’ (eyes)
- Seche Vite
That teal is just lovely (drooool) and like Devil’s Delight, it was lovely to apply too. Unlike Devil’s Delight though, Totally Teal only took two coats for complete opacity, yay! Now, I know that Rudolph’s antlers are a
bit very wonky and one eye is a bit squiffy and I failed to give him any ears (I did try but he looked more cat than reindeer…) but I kinda like my little creation 🙂 To my surprise, my right had turned out ok too (should have taken a photo, doh!) although righty’s antlers were even more off kilter that lefty’s!
I’ve not done any freehand nailart before and I have to say it was kinda fun. Might attempt some more soon.
That’s it for today. See you next time!
